Shopping-first Milan walk

Strategy: use the first three hours for the Quadrilatero while boutiques are still open, then shift to the Galleria, a quick Piazza del Duomo look, and Brera as stores begin to close.

4:00 PM · 1) Rocco Forte House → Via della SpigaLeave the hotel at Via Manzoni 46. You are already at the corner of Via Manzoni and Via della Spiga, so turn directly onto Via della Spiga and begin browsing south through the pedestrian fashion street. Priority: actually enter anything that interests Yaffa now; some boutiques close at 7:00.

~4:40 PM · 2) Via Sant'Andrea → Via del GesùFrom Spiga, turn onto Via Sant'Andrea, then cut through Via del Gesù. Take your time with the smaller luxury storefronts and side streets. This is still prime shopping time, not just sightseeing.

~5:00 PM · 3) Santo Spirito / BorgospessoWork through Via Santo Spirito and Via Borgospesso rather than skipping straight to Montenapoleone. These interior streets give you the quieter, more intimate part of the Quadrilatero and maximize the number of shops you can see before closing.

~5:15 PM · 4) Via MontenapoleoneTurn onto Via Montenapoleone and give it a full 60–75 minutes. This is the flagship stretch. If Yaffa wants to enter Fendi or another major house, do it now. Treat 7:00 PM as the practical deadline for stores you truly want to visit, even though some stay open until 7:30 or 8:00.

~6:30 PM · 5) Montenapoleone → Piazza della ScalaBegin moving south/west toward Piazza della Scala. See La Scala from outside, but do not spend meaningful time there; the goal is to transition from shopping into the evening sights.

~6:45 PM · 6) Enter Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II from La ScalaWalk through the full Galleria under the glass dome. This is where the new Milan photo in this section was taken. Browse whatever is still open, but the architecture and atmosphere are now the main event.

~7:00 PM · 7) Brief Piazza del Duomo lookExit the Galleria onto Piazza del Duomo for a quick look at the piazza. No cathedral visit or tour. Then turn back through the Galleria toward La Scala.

~7:10 PM · 8) La Scala → BreraFrom the La Scala side, head north toward Via Brera. At this point you are no longer racing the luxury-store clock, so the pace can relax.

~7:20–7:50 PM · 9) Brera → Fiori Chiari → Madonnina / SolferinoStroll Via Brera, Via Fiori Chiari, then the Via Madonnina / Via Solferino area. Pop into any smaller shop that is still open, but enjoy the evening atmosphere, narrow streets and boutiques. At about 7:50 PM, call a car from Brera directly to Carmel rather than returning to the hotel.
