Walking + shopping preview

A first evening stroll through the Quadrilatero and into Brera to see the streets, browse lightly, and get a feel for Milan.

1) Start at the hotel → Via della SpigaExit Rocco Forte House onto Via Manzoni, make a left, and almost immediately make a left again onto Via della Spiga. Highlights: pedestrian fashion street, elegant Milan facades, window displays, and an easy first taste of the Quadrilatero.

2) Continue to Via Sant'AndreaWalk south along Spiga, then turn left onto Via Sant'Andrea. Highlights: refined boutiques, a calmer pace than Montenapoleone, and a polished neighborhood feel.

3) Cut across Via del GesùFrom Sant'Andrea, turn right onto Via del Gesù. Highlights: smaller luxury side-street feel, intimate storefronts, and a nice bridge between the iconic streets and the lesser-seen corners.

4) Walk Via MontenapoleoneTurn left onto Via Montenapoleone and stroll the flagship stretch. Highlights: classic Milan people-watching, major fashion houses, the most iconic luxury-shopping street in the city, and a quick visual read on what stores may be worth revisiting later.

5) Transition through Via Manzoni toward BreraWhen ready, continue back toward Via Manzoni, turn right, and head in the direction of Piazza della Scala / Brera. Highlights: handsome architecture, another layer of luxury storefronts, and a scenic transition from the formal fashion district into the more character-filled Brera area.

6) Explore Brera: Via Brera → Fiori Chiari → Madonnina / SolferinoTurn into Via Brera, then continue wandering Via Fiori Chiari, Via Madonnina, and Via Solferino. Highlights: smaller shops, charming side streets, jewelry, fragrance, home/design touches, local boutiques, and the more atmospheric, less formal side of Milan.
